The LA Zoo 7/17/08

We went to the LA Zoo with David’s Tia Norma and prima Ely that visited from Mexico. Tia Norma speaks no English and Ely speaks very little, so it was a fun day for me to use my Spanish. My Spanish is not great, but I proved to myself it is better than I thought it was. Talia was amazed by the gorilla’s (she loves a movie called “Mighty Joe Young” about a gorilla) so it was great to see some real gorillas. She also loved seeing the hippo’s and the giraffes. It was fun, but it was sooo hot.
